This project captures the magic of roads and highways under the night sky, blending the dynamic glow of urban lights with the unique miniature tilt-shift effect. Filmed across three stunning locations—Calgary, Hong Kong, and the Philippines—it showcases the vibrant nightlife and motion of each city.

Originally planned to feature snowy Calgary, the fleeting snow posed a challenge, leading to a creative shift in focus. Embracing night scenes instead, I captured videos from elevated spots, processed them into 8fps clips, applied Gaussian blur, and sped them up to achieve the signature tilt-shift effect. The result is a mesmerizing journey through illuminated roads, reimagined in miniature form.
